The first trailer for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire has been released. The film is the sequel to the 2012 blockbuster The Hunger Games, which starred Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, and Liam Hemsworth.
The new trailer shows Katniss Everdeen (Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Hutcherson) returning to their home district after winning the Hunger Games. However, their victory comes at a price, as President Snow (Donald Sutherland) is determined to make them pay for their defiance. Katniss and Peeta are forced to participate in a special edition of the Hunger Games, the Quarter Quell, which will be even more dangerous than the last.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is scheduled to be released in theaters on November 22, 2013.
